Ease of Doing Business  
Value Proposition: Ease of doing business incorporation and registration of a company. One Shareholder Company, with no minimum requirement.

Investors benefits: Simple and easy administrative procedures to set up businesses in Mauritius. Within 3 days companies engaged in unregulated activities may be set up. Investors are allowed to invest in any sector of the economy and may also own 100% equity in a local company.
 
   
Labour Pool  
Value Proposition: Mauritius benefits from an existing pool of young, well educated, skilled and productive workforce. The attrition rate is less than 15% ,an excellent indicator of the stability of our workforce.

Multilingual workforce  
Value Proposition: While English is the official language and a compulsory course in the curriculum until the School Certificate level, French is the main language in the everyday environment. Several European languages such as Italian, German and Spanish are also spoken along with Oriental languages such as Hindi, Urdu, and Mandarin.

Infrastructure  
Value Proposition: The Island has a well developed digital network infrastructure excellent telecommunication facilities including the high- bandwidth international leased lines. Mauritius is also connected to the SAFE submarine fibre optic cable and will be connected to SEACOM cable in 2010.

Investors benefits: Telecom network is stable and reliable with a connection on the Safe fibre Optic cable. Additional bandwidth, increased redundancy and a decrease in telecom costs are envisaged through a connection to the SEACOM cable. Availability of State-of-the-art infrastructure such as Eben Cyber city and investment project (for e.g. Rose Belle Business park) is forthcoming and the Green IT park in Flic en Flac.

Work and Live inMauritius  
Value Proposition: Foreign nationals may apply for an Occupation Permit (OP) for living and working in Mauritius. The Occupation Permit which s a combined work and residence permit is granted to foreign nationals.

Investors benefits: The Occupation Permit (OP) is delivered within 3 working days to foreign nationals for a period of 3 years. After 3 years of operations in Mauritius, foreign nationals may apply for
Permanent residence under prescribed terms. Spouse and dependants of the holder of an OP can also apply for a residence permit.
 
   
Legal Framework  
Value Proposition: Appropriate legal framework is in place to enable international players to successfully conduct business in Mauritius
