The Informatics Park is the first IT dedicated complex constructed since 1994-95 and is ideally located at La Tour Koenig at 2 kilometres away from Port Louis city centre. The total built up area of the 3 storeyed complex is 5,511 square metres with a rentable space of 3,914 sq. mt comprising of 38 modular units each of a floor area of 103 sq.mt.
Facilities Available
The modular units have raised floor system suitable for network cabling and installation with a floor loading capacity of 5 KN/m². The ceiling height is 2.7 m. A 250 Kva standby generator is available in case of power failure.
The Informatics Park offer outstanding telecommunication facilities with a direct access to the earth station through fibre optic cable and with a microwave link back up ensuring a permanent communication with the international gateway even in events of cyclone.The park offers open car parking facilities and a 24 hour security services.
General Lease Terms and Conditions
The lease of each unit is for a period of 5 years with a starting rental of Rs 26/sq.ft and a service charge of Rs 2 / sq.ft with a 15% VAT applicable to the charges. The rental is subject to an annual increase of 6 percent annually. A deposit equivalent to three months rental is also required.
