BPML owns and manages 15 Industrial spread over the island. They all are well located and are within easy reach due to good road network. The Industrial sites are found within built-up areas and thus enable easy recruitment of workers. The buildings are typically on the floor and are modulable in unit of 1250 sqmt. All the buildings have tarred and have parking area up to 40 ft containers lorries with loading and unloading facilities. The building sites are security-fenced.
Basic Infrastructures
Power
Each site is provided with a transformer of 250 – 1000 KVA capacity and tenant need to apply for power connection to Central Electricity Board. All internal electrical wiring and connection to the transformer room are under tenant’s charge.
Water
Water is supplied to tenants through ground water storage tanks and overhead water tanks of adequate size. Tenant need to apply to the Central Water Authority for connection against payment of relevant charges.
Telecommunications
The Mauritius Telecom is to be connected for all data/telecommunication requirements of tenants.
General Lease Terms and Conditions
Industrial space rented by BPML is generally for a period of 3 years. A standard lease agreement can be made available on request.
